Affinity skates was founded by Vincent Lim. Being in the industry since 2012, Vincent started teaching as a coach at various skate school.

During the years, Vincent builds trust and friendship and constantly engage in classes from private lesson, MOE school, ActiveSG, RC and community centre.
​
In 2025, Vincent decided it was time to venture out and thus incorporated Affinity Skates.
